Jerome Lyons was born, pink and wrinkly, in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, bringing smiles to the faces of the Ramano and Agarabi tribes people who lived near his family home. Jerome Lyons
His childhood tribal and spiritual experiences have influenced Jerome's outlook and chosen career.
Since 1985 he has developed a unique approach to musical instrument building, through his artistic representation of the Australian Bush.
From his workshop – a once-abandoned Cheese Factory – deep in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, Jerome creates a mystical and evocative design characteristic in each functional musical instrument.
